Dr. Mónika Szepes works as an Application Specialist for automated liquid handling at Eppendorf since 2022. She studied Biomedical Engineering (M.Sc.) at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and received her Ph.D. at the Leibniz Research Laboratories, Hannover Medical School, Germany. Her research on investigating bioartificial tissue formation from human iPSC-derived cardiovascular cell types led to a profound background in molecular biology and cell biology. In addition, she gained scientific experience through international internships in India, Portugal, and Canada as well as experience as a patent examiner in the field of biotechnology.
